PAUL SMITH SHIRT = £135.00

Nothing to overly analytical with this purchase. I saw the shirt, I liked the shirt, I bought the shirt.

LEVI'S VINTAGE = £150.00

Being a self confessed denim snob means it's difficult go back on statements like, 'I only wear denim that has selvedge'. So when my last pair of jeans bit the dust it was time to invest in another pair of jeans, of course I had to stick to my selvedge mantra. So I popped into the ever changing Cinch (the Levi's concept store off Carnaby St. that only stock Levi's Red and Levi's Vintage).

I found these 1963 Levi's 505s and they are fantastic, they're a nice deep indigo denim is always a safe bet! The thing that really caught my eye was a very bold claim on one of the tags stating 'EVERY PAIR GUARANTEED: A NEW PAIR IF THEY RIP". So I've put the receipt and the label in a safe place and lets see if Levi's stick to their word... Just have to hope the safe place, isn't too safe!

MARVIS JASMINE MINT TOOTHPASTE - £5.00

Over the past few months I have been trying to spend less and be a bit more frugal, alas it hasn't really worked. I have found myself drawn to brands that really kindle a sense of emotion whether that be via a person history I have with a product/brand or via the packaging.

Marvis toothpaste caught my whilst in the Murdoch Barbers concession in Liberty. I love the packaging and the range of flavours is fantastic. Although a little bit pricey for toothpaste, well worth every penny for the packaging alone.

QUINNY BY HENRIK VIBSKOV - £FREE.00

Although this blog is dedicated to everything I buy. How could I resist from posting some images of this amazing Quinny By Henrik Vibskov poncho? The technicolor poncho was in the goody bag and is by far the best thing I have ever received in a... goody bag.

It has to be said, the best things in life are free.

ROB RYAN X IF YOU COULD - £40.00

So, I took delivery of my Rob Ryan screen print on Friday whilst catching up with Alex Bec [one half of the duo behind ifyoucould.co.uk] and they said that the Rob Ryan print has been one of the most successful prints to do date.

I strongly advise you check out ifyoucould.co.uk to see what these guys are up to! It’s a great concept, log-on and show support for the guys.

THE BLACK GHOSTS - £7.99

Theo Keating and Simon Lord are The Black Ghosts. This two-piece band are creating a musical storm. Their self-entitled album is eleven tracks of aural pleasure [if you buy the CD from play.com you get a bonus CD with remixes from the likes of Switch, Fake Blood and The Whip]. I would recommend getting the album from Play.com, the bonus CD is with £7.99 asking price itself.

The album is not strictly electro bangers, excuse the cliché but it ‘takes you on a journey’. "Any Way You Choose To Give It” will have your heading nodding like a dog in bad car insurance advert, then “Don't Cry” will have you reaching for the Kleenex. The artwork by Check Morris ties in perfectly with the music.

The Black Ghosts get a really big thumbs up from me!
